1987
The Beginning
Tony & Sherry Cramer founded Economy Fireplace Inc in Ellettsville, Indiana, with a vision to provide quality fireplace products at fair prices.
1995
Showroom Expansion
Moved to our current Bloomington location and expanded to a 3,500 sq ft showroom to better serve our growing customer base.
2000
The Wall of Fire
Introduced our famous ‘Wall of Fire’ display, allowing customers to see multiple fireplace options burning side by side.
2010
100+ Displays
Reached over 100 burning displays in our showroom, becoming Indiana’s largest fireplace display center.

Founded by Tony and Sherry Cramer in their hometown of Ellettsville, our goal has always been simple: offer upscale products—without upscale prices—and stand behind everything we sell.
